I love that image Carolyn even although I know you'd rather not have so much snow.

I think there is about 4" of snow on the railings and on the grass.it is heavy wet snow. I had to go shovel while kevin salted the parking lots we contract for. heavy wet slushy sloppy. do you know it was one year ago today was had 4" of snow that day too and then our shop burned in the afternoon.

We have had snow in May and even later...it never lasts but it lets us know we shouldn't plant too early...:worried:

We got it too! Storm took out our hydro too. It was a long few days, but yesterday the sun came out and it was 10°c, so it is almost melted again. I hope that is the last time.

We say here, "April doet 'ie wil".
---"April does what it wants"....and that could be anything.
    We always brace ourselves here.

One whole week is a far different view. warm dry and working outside....building a new hightunnel... 26'x96' long. it is the largest and pretty sure our last structure. this one was a bit intimidating but it is coming together quite nicely. as soon as there is plastic on it I won't be able to see the neighbors..

This it. 4 arches the first day 6 the next and all the rest yesterday. Once we got a method to our madness it went much faster.

Netty... Thanks but I can tell you a structure this large is a bit intimidating getting it up. We got a huge bargain on the arches but it has Been way more to put it back up. We put in cross ties and wind braces and a purlin in the center. Which I have no idea why there wasn't one there to begin with... New skirt boards and dbl wire lock... It adds up fast. I can't wait to get my tomatoes in. ( I should have read this before 12 hrs had passed. Auto correct from the phone just stinks. I hope you got the gist of the paragraph though). 20170414_074332-1.jpg
