So I started my spinach several weeks ago cause we hadn't closed on the house yet and it's growing well in the pallet I built for it. So will I do more harm than good moving it to the garden?

It should be fine. It transplants easier than some greens.

Ok. Any particular size I should transplant them at? I've been googling like crazy and I've seen everything from not transplanting them at all to waiting until they are nearly mature. Right now they look more like blades of grass about two inches long then spinnach.

2 to 4 inches is what I would transplant them at. I think they settle in better when not too large. Mine always looks like grass too when the plants are small. Hard to know what to weed out and what to let grow.

Ok. Thank you. I'll move them Friday when the rain is done.

I transplanted my spinach this year when the plantlets had their second set of leaves. They are doing well at the moment. You ought to be alright.

I am amazed and in awe of you, Sjoerd and Mart ! I think of Spinach as being so delicate, I would never attempt transplanting. Bravo! CJAV, please post your progress.

    Lettuce too will tolerate transplantation.

No way, GP--Spinach is delicate in the sense that it will shoot easily; however, aside from that they seem to be pretty hardy.
