I am going to boast here, if you don't mind and possibly even if you do.:smt026
35 years or so after I wrote it, our eldest son has edited and had printed a book I wrote. It is called 'Flight to The Betty'. It is a children's book for say about 11 year olds.
You can see it on Amazon if you are interested. To say that I am thrilled would be an understatement.
Never been a particularly ambitious type, but to have a proper book published was one of the few.
Now he is working on some more of my tales. They will appear in due course. :smt041

Everyone thinks they can write a book, but so few do. Congratulations on being an author--you are one of the few who do!

Not bothered if it only sells to family, to be honest. And we have put it on sale at cost so won't make any money from it.

I had to take a look at your book, Palustras, and I enjoyed the sample pages so much I checked the USA amazon and they had it for sale here! I ordered it! I'm going to read it first and then pass it around to the grandkids.

Thank-you. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Son is in the process of preparing another set of stories for publishing soon.

Congratulations on having published a book! I read a bit and would love to read the rest. I think this book would be good for our youngest and my granddaughters. It's exciting and not too long. Good language exercise for them.

I think our community at the GardenStew just got richer, as now, aside from people from all other professions, we today can boast of having a recently published author among ourselves too! :D

    Seriously, excellent job Palustris!!! :like:
