That plant is remarkably tall. I do find it alarmingly spindly though.
Do you plan on letting it continue growing or will you top it at some point?
Do those plants get enough of sunlight there?
Well, the main thing is that they look healthy. Keep us updated with their progress, oké?

Thanks Sjoerd...from what i know about rapunzel..it can grow to almost 8ft. But I'm gonna start topping it off. It is a little spindly, but i just used panty hose to anchor all the stems...thats why it looks worse than it is...trust me there are more coming out. As far as the light...i can only hope that they are getting enough light at this point. At the moment i'm fighting humidity. Have to get some sevin dust.

HELP... I don't remember where the post was...but what was the suggestion for spray to help with pollination or was it something to do with calcium....
I was having problems with flowers dropping and not being pollinated.

I am not sure, but I think that someone suggested Magnesium Sulphate...Epsom Salts. I usually just mist a bit of water on the blooms after I have shaken all of them. The floating pollen grains will adhere if they fall on the female structures.
    Here's wishing you success.

Hummer, if it is too hot the blossoms will not pollinate. the pollen doesn't fall from the anthers it sticks, resulting in non pollinated blossoms. if is hotter than here then I would guess thats the problem. not anything you are or are not doing. calcium spray is for blossom end rot.

I would suggest putting the plants as close together as possible and give them a shake couple of times a day. However it is not unusual for the first blooms to drop. I always have a few that do. Just shake them occasionally and give them a little time.

Hi everyone, I'm here! Just been waiting to give you all some kind of progress. Well, I have now topped off my Rapunzel tomato plant at least 6 times already at the 6' mark. I bought a couple of scraggly determinate tomato plants. Carolyn, I tend to agree with you. The humidity is crazy. So I'm just gonna be patient and hope for the best. However, I'm going to take suckers from the other plants and see what happens hydroponically. I'm starting to think that I like growing hydroponically.for the patio until I get to a place to grow in beds.

    Thanks for the update, Hummer.
Boy, that Rapunzel is a really vigorous grower, isn't it.

Oh shucks! I would have liked seeing that piccy.
Gosh Hummer, those hard-growers ought to stop growing upwards and start producing fruit at some point. You want something more than just ...."green", don't you.
Well, at least there is a blossom already. I'll join you in shouting. "yayyyy" !
