Took cuttings in summer of 2013, then had to move them to a temporary, not sunny enough spot in my Mom's yard while we were busy moving. A few weeks ago, I dug up some grass & made a spot for them. Whenever DH finishes building a new front porch, will get rid of the rest of the grass. Put bricks around for now... not much to look at yet, but will be.

There's 2 Gardenias, Cleome, a Geranium, couple Tradescantia pallida pieces. Some moss rose seeds I put in there are also sprouting, but impossible to see yet. So much more interesting than grass!

Very nice start purple with that brilliant red Geranium. It looks like you have a new spot to fill up. Are you still purpleinopp? Or are you now purple in someplace else?

It's going to be interesting to see how everything grows for you. I'm already looking forward to the next photographs. Who needs a lot of grass anyway when there's plants and seeds to go into the soil? :)

TY, Vitrsna! We only moved about 1/2 mile. Moving the other stuff was a breeze compared to moving plants. LOL!

TY, Eileen! I'm anxious too. No idea if these little guys will be able to bloom this year or what. We will find out together. :+)

The Gardenia by our back patio has been in full bloom for a month or so. The smell is amazing and a joy to accompany our morning coffee.

The flowers are double and look like white roses which take on a pretty yellow color before they fall. I wish you the best of luck with yours they are a real joy to have around.

    Great news.
Well done with your Gardenias. They have the most exotically delicious fragrance.
