I am preparing nursery wall decoration recently. By the way, i am a DIY lover. From the information i get from internet, there are three widely spread wall decoration options now: wall paint, wallpaper and wall decals. Different people has different opinions on the same things. For example, one article i found on internet thinks wall decals are good choice. Some others prefer wall paint and wallpaper. I do not know which one is better now. So i want to ask for your guys' opinions.

Here is some pictures i collected of different wall treatment:

I like them all. I would have a hard time picking one.

When a friend was expecting, I stenciled circus animals and tents around the top of the walls. We painted the room a soft white, and the colorful animals and red tents added color.
It was inexpensive, easy to do, and could be painted over when the child got older and discovered Barbie!
Getting decals off can be difficult, and the wallpaper looks pretty busy in what is most likely a small room.

The kid in me likes the colorful picture #2. Children in their early years learn with shapes, color and sound. Colorful images provide tools they use to define their world. Long before letters and numbers. As adults we often experience childhood amnesia, forgetting our childhood memories before the age of 7 or 8. Then again some of us don't forget... :) Shapes and color filled my childhood which is why I chose picture #2.

Number two would be the one I'd go for. It's just the
thing for a nursery whether it's for a girl or a boy.

I love wall decals. They are so easy to move just in case they get old

Recommend wall decals! There are so many options out there to choose from and when you remove them they don't damage your walls!
