I had posted about the begonia I had forgotten about that I had given my Mom for Mothers day last year.
WOW! Now I see I have three different colors in the one pot. That has blessed my socks off so to speak. I have posted another pic of the first Begonia posted about. Then the other 2 pic's are of the other colors I have.
I am going to try and grow some from cuttings and see what happens. Praying that they will grow in these beauties. DSCN4455.JPG DSCN4454.JPG DSCN4453.JPG

Those are gorgeous...I wish I could grow them but I am doing something wrong. I read to put a small bed of stone with water below the container...do you do that?

Write what you do with your Begonias Sherry.

Make sure the corms are good as can be stock.
If stored they should be kept free from frost and dry.
Harden off for a couple of weeks before storing.

After that remove any remaining soil and old stems and roots.
Cut away any damaged stems or parts with a sterilised knife and dust with something like Sulfer.

Thank you all for your sweet comments and likes. I plan on ordering some more Picotte Begonia tubers next spring. I'm in love with them. Hopefully they also will grow for me next summer.
Sherry- I just water the pot when I lift it and it seems lighter. I also could never keep these over winter, and my attempts at growing them often turned out poorly. So glad that I forgot about them until I saw them growing in their pot this spring. Otherwise I'm sure I would have killed them.
    Kate-that is great info.
