The ospreys are back to their usual nest. Its high up so its not easy to see them unless they stand on the nest.
Now that's what I call a magnificent bird and a fantastic photograph!! We have quite a few pairs of Ospreys now compared to a few years ago and it's thanks to all the wardens and volunteers that do their very best to deter egg thieves. It's definitely working as the pairs are returning now to their nests sites year on year and rearing their young with much more of a success rate.
