Out Of The Ashes!!

    Hey Ya'll!!! Look what came out of the ashes (after the theft) waiting on me at my son's apartment...little bananas!!! Thank God that I still have plants at his place!!! First time ever!!! So excited. Should I do anything special to them? I have no clue!!

    How I wish I could grow bananas here. I think I'd be inclined to leave them and see what happens. Maybe give them some added fertilizer?? I'm sure someone else will have much better advice for you.

    I have no idea about bananas, but when our fruit trees get tiny apples or pears or almonds on them, we give them a half-dose of organic fertilizer (manure tea). It doesn't hurt, and it may help.
    So happy that you have your plants at your son's, and that they are doing well. Mother Nature loves gardeners who don't give up!

    Hi there, thank you for the info..i'll do that..yes i'm happy that i left them there!!! I'm actually making gardeners out of them....lol

    I had 3 plants to bloom this summer. They will finish growing in the greenhouse as by then it will be winter. It's so much fun to grow them. There must be 8 bunches on the 3 plants.
