anyone here grow them? I have several questions, as I haven't really had much success with them. They taste great, but, if I can't get a decent harvest, I don't want to waste the space to grow them.

Since they don't do so well in hot weather, I was thinking of starting them indoors the middle of April and setting them out around the first of May.

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions, and calling me names are all welcome. :D

I grew them a few years and they were Ok. They are a good bean to save seed from the best plants so that you eventually get a plant best suited to your desires. I like the colored flowers :-D . For me the Scarlett runners with their abundance of beans has been my favorite bean.

I have never heard of them. But if they can`t take the heat they would never make it in Texas !
