We stopped to visit on the way to Oregon and had a short but great visit with our Grandsons family and was also able to visit my best friend of 40 years.

Our son doesn't have any children so he passed his coat that my mother bought him in Taiwan in 1970.

Great photographs 2ofus and I particularly like the one of little Vander is that snazzy blue coat!! By the way I love your smile - it shows just how much you enjoyed your family visit and meeting up with your friend.

Vander (I love that name) is adorable. His parents and great-grandparents are good looking too.

We were in Newport for the salmon fishing. It's a beautiful area but the traffic is too much for us!

Oh boy. It does look like a delightful trip especially with your being able to visit with such a sweet looking family. I am a bit jealous as to your destination-Oregon. My honey and I would love to vacation out there this year. But the $$$ say something else. Oh, maybe next year.

Tooty, we live in the southwest corner of Idaho so we are a lot closer than you are, plus we pulled our camper with us so we only had the RV space to pay for. I cooked most meals in the camper so it wasn't too expensive.
