I finally have my camera back out and I took it to the Lake property the other day. I caught this Pelican flying overhead...He is carrying something, any guesses? The diet of a Pelican usually consists of fish, but they also eat amphibians, crustaceans and on some occasions, smaller birds.

Maybe it is carrying something for its nest.

I wonder what their nest looks like and how big it would be, seeing they are large? I just looked up the pelican and the white one has something on its beak so I think that is all part of the bird. he is not carrying something at all...o_O

Fantastic shots of the pelican Sherry. I'm so glad you have your back as I've been missing your photographs.
