    That photo will elicit a lot of "Ooohhhs" because the baby bird is so darned cute! Thank you for posting it, and congratulations for being the pic of the month!

    We saw a killdeer out our window the other day but it wasn't a baby. I haven't seen it since then. I don't see so many as I did in the spring. Maybe they keep to the trees since it's gotten hot outside.

    Thank you for the messages and to those that voted for the little guy. All the killdeers that I have seen, and photographed many, were all near water. I don't think that they are a tree bird at all Dooley
