    This was last night's dinner:

This is Pizza Rusticana a la Napolitana, and has ricotta, motzarella, dry Italian sausage, and panchetta and eggs in it. It's rich, smooth, and just perfect for a chilly night.
Here it is plated, with a suitable beverage:

I just got done eating a leftover slice of pizza from ElBarbinPa's restaurant. That's a good place to have a variety of special meals.

It looks wonderful, Jane. I, too, have that very same silverware in my drawer. I rescued it out of the neighbors barn when they were tearing it down. I liked it enough to remove my old ware and put this in the drawer. My kids make fun of it all the time...We are eating off of tridents....

So, we aren't the only ones who photograph our food. ;)

Yes Kay, that's the blue Pfaltzgraff, and the flatware is pewter finish with pistol grip knives. We've had both for years and years!

I got an entire set of the Pfaltzgraff dishes for Christmas 1983. It is still in great shape.
(didn't use it much for everyday when my kids were growing up!)
    I like it.
It is kind of like a classic now. I buy pieces at garage sales and thrift shops when I see it.
