Please help with this tree. I bought it for $1.00 as an unknown tree. Hubby thinks its a Pin Oak and I was hoping it was a Maple. Anyone know?
It looks just like the maple buds I have here Barb. It's difficult to tell for sure as both trees new leaves are very similar.

About 4 or 5 feet....Tooty2shoe. It has full leaves now and it is a Maple.... We have allot of plants to plant before we get our guests on Saturday. We should be fine.... BTW, I got allot of plants for a dollar that day last fall. Many small pine trees... and much more..
