i hit the plant jackpot. A very generous lady gave a a huge bunch of Iris and Black eyed Susan's.i really appreciate it so much. I'll post pix when they bloom.
This is what I did for my sister's birthday this year, I gave her some plants. I figured something that would be useful to her as well as something she could make her own would be a better gift than money or something I usually get.
What color Iris did you get? The large patch of white cemetery Iris and California Gold Iris I have were given to me a couple of years ago and I have two patches of Black-eyed Susans that were a gift too. It is so much fun to get plants like that!
I figured this way it would give her a nice project to do in her spare time and maybe if we both have time off together we can do this project together. I also got her some vegetables for her garden that she has been wanting to expand. Quality time and something that is different to be done.
I hit the plant jackpot again today. A friend of mine gave me a ton of hens and chicks. I'm a happy camper.
