Hi KM, Points are related to a type of trophy system that is built into the forum software. If you earn a certain number of points for achieving certain milestones you receive trophies. However I haven't implemented it right now because I don't want to over-complicate things so early. It's an option for the future though. My advice - just ignore them for now
