Pretty simple here, can I and/or should I grow bush and pole beans together? I figure tall teepee type trellises for the poles and short ones for the bush would double capacity for the small space I will have for them.

Also, how deep a bed do I need for both types?

I planted the bush around the perimeter of the pole beans. As for depth I used 8" raised beds in the past but moved into 6" this year. They seem to be doing just fine. Bush plants are 10-12" tall and already producing beans, poles are just growing.
