    For those who like mushrooms.

Portobellos are topped with blue cheese. Great as an appetizer, or
build a burger with crusty rolls, red onion slices, lettuce and tomato.

My husband loves these mushrooms Glenda. I hate the smell of the blue cheese though so he only tends to have them if I'm not around. :D

You can use any kind of cheese you like Eileen I use cheddar on mine and I do not like the smell of blue cheese either.

I love portabellas and we cook them on the grill all the time. I don't even need any meat on the bun...the mushroom is good enough for me with a few onions and green pepper. Mmmmm...

Lol Eileen Let the man have his smelly cheese.I like a grilled portebella (until tender)large
with butter type spread ,garlic powder, chopped onion, cheddar cheese.I take the
bun put the top over the cheese let it melt. I put mustard on the bottom sliced tomatoes dill pickles, and set the port and cheese and topon the salad and you have a great portabella burger no meat Biita.

Glendann, they were great. We had garlic bread and a salad with them. Yum, yum. After hubby took ONE bite he said. "I'll get some more mushrooms next week." You can bet he won't forget. :-D
