question about tuberous begonia??

    pulled a couple of begonias at work today expecting to see some kind of tuberous root that i could keep and store but there was nothing there?? do these develop over time? when is the best time to take leaf/tip/stem cuttings?? :-D

    There are many different types of begonias including tuberous and without seeing a picture of your plant it would be hard to tell which type you have.

    Some types: Tuberous, Canes, Shrubs, Rhizomatous, Semperflorens, Rex Cultorum, Trailing/Scandent and Thick-stemmed.

    these are the begonia in question and they was labelled up as tuberous begonia. not sure if this picture is any help at all?
