left the birds a little treat in a dry place. Maybe they will come this close to the house and we can watch them from the window!

If I were a bird, I'd stop by there for a treat!
    Nice job.

Just the thing for the birds Dawn. Maybe you should hope for more rainy days as they seem to give some great ideas.

That's a simple and effective solution Dawn. And it looks very neat to boot!

Thanks! I like the longer one best I think. Not only can you put bread in it but I'm thinking maybe some apple slices too.

What kind of wire were you using? It doesn't look like fence wire, or is it? Great idea for finding things around the home and using them to make something else.

I'm not sure what it's called but I do believe it is some type of fencing. It was on the inside of the Windows of our barn and there was an extra piece in the corner which is what I used.

It looks like rabbit wire to me. It can be purchased with 1/4 inch openings or 1/2 inch openings. It is also excellent to make screens for sifting rocks out of your garden soil or to sift compost.

Yeah it is most certainly a multi purpose type of fencing. I was looking to get some fencing for a couple of projects I had in mind.

Oh wow. That would be a great idea to put some orange slices in for the Orioles. I have tried to put bread out for my birds, but they just ignored it. Oh well. Picky birds I guess.
