This just popped up in my neighbor's garden amid her wandering jew. We were surprised it was allowed to live. It's quite alone and unique in her garden. Since they just moved in and the house was empty for years before they bought it, no one can put their finger on the exact type of flower it is, either.
Lycoris radiata (Naked Lady, Red Spider Lily) They send up leaves in the spring/early summer. The leaves die then in the fall the stems popup and the large red bloom appears.
