    Hi there Yonni!! I think your plant is actually an Umbrella plant. Here's a piccie of one I found on the net - looks very similar - what do you think?

    Yep, Umbrella tree also known as Schefflera. This website will help you keep it growing. From the looks of where you have it, it might not be getting enough light.
    When I lived in south Florida almost every yard had at least one. My Mom's was over 20 feet tall when they moved.

    And I will third the Umbrella tree! :) They benefit from misting as well as good light.
