We have been enjoying watching these little cuties through one of our living room windows. They fly around in our birch tree next to the house catching bugs. I have also seen them along the river at the back of our property. They are so fast that I have not been able to get a photo of those little cuties.

Gorgeous little birds and I'm so glad you are able to watch them. Hopefully one will sit still for a moment so that you can snap it with your camera.

Looking forward to a photo if you can get one. I googled the bird, too...wanted to know what it looked like. They're cute little things! And their name becomes obvious once you see what they look like! ;)

Well all. I will have to take my trusty diggy camera down to the river and just sit awhile and see if one will pose for me. They never really sit still. I think maybe they may have had too many morning coffee's. We will have to see what happens.

Really sharp photographs Kildale. It still amazes me how you get so many species to eat from your hand.

Wow Kildale I could never get mine to eat out of my hand. What are you feeding it? Great photos. They are such cute little birds. I haven't seen them around for quite a few days now. Not even down by the river. o_O
