i scored big today at Lowe's. I got plants that were marked down from $6.50 to $3.00.i bought sea thrift, lantana, catchfly, delphinium, and a couple more that I can't think of. I also got a flat of snap dragons for $6.00. I'm a happy camper.
There are great buys on the mark-down shelves at big box stores, and I'm so happy you found such good buys! Not only are you a happy camper, but after planting all your bargains, you'll probably be an aching camper, too!
True. I am. I scored again today. I bought 4 plants off the dead plant rack. 2 have been soaked in water and look gorgeous. The other 2 are soaking now.
I found a tiny little greenhouse that had great prices. I got Iris for$3.00 a pot there is about 6 per pot. Score!!! And I got 2 Sedum for $1.50 per pot. They are nameless so they will go in my no name garden. Here is my haul. The lady also gave me 2 shamrock plants.

You found some great, and pretty, plants extremely cheap! I think it's a good thing that I live so far from a large town so I'm not tempted often.
I know what you mean 2ofus. I have Boise, Meridian, and Nampa to shop in....a lot of bargains to buy.
You did get some great deals at your local Lowe's. Was this something that was advertised in their flyer or was it just something your local one was doing? I would love to go get these deals too!
