September is here already! Here in Ireland it's the start of our Autumn so you can already see gardens winding down. Quite sad :notworthy:
What's on your gardening agenda this month of September?

The gardens are still growing, but they will be winding down soon. Still picking tomatoes, cucumbers and cucamelons. The carrots and onions are almost ready, and the kale and cabbage is yet to come. Its been a great garden so far this year!

For the first 2 weeks of Sept I will be watering and watching things suffer. We might start getting some rain again sometime after the 15th of the month, so as soon as the ground is soft enough to get my trowel into I will be digging up and moving almost everything to new homes and throwing out the plants that just don't have the energy left in them to make a comeback again after another brutal summer.

Time to start putting beds in order for next spring. Will be taking tomato cage apart and moving to new location for next season.

Well we put in our garlic bed and yesterday put in 8 baby brussel sprouts those are slow growers so we need to give em a head start. In the plan for this week is to put in some broccoli and cut down some of the long beans and put in some fall cucs. our bell peppers and okra sre still going well so we will let them go till they freeze. Which some years doesn't happen.
