I went around and took some pictures of the new flower beds I started this year. Most of the plants were from wintersewn seeds.

I haven't tried winter sowing as our winters are so long and cold but it looks like works great for you. Your flower beds are going to look so nice with all your new plants. I'm envying you over the big round water trough! No bending to weed, dead-head or tend to them! :D :like: :flower: :stew1:

    Well done!

I took a few shots around my yard today. I have a few flowers but it's mostly about wildly colored foliage.

I love the look of your Cypress vine. Such a delicate looking plant with bright, star shaped flowers.:)

I like the color combinations in your foliage beds. Really eye catching. I especially enjoyed the color and texture combinations in the second picture. Fabulous!

If I can do it, anyone can. I got rid of grass & put the other plants. Smothering the grass under cardboard is the easiest way. I do more space as time goes by. Hopefully our yard will be grass-free by the time we are too old for the hard labor of mowing!
