I thought I had read about smoked garlic on GS but couldn't find in in the search engine so I hope I'm not cutting into someone else's post. I just wondered if anyone had tried it? It sounds like it would be great in stews, roasts, Italian recipe's and more. I've thought many times of getting a smoker but now I know I will. There's good instructions on Google how to do it.
Yes 2ofus, you had read about smoked garlic on GS in this post - http://www.gardenstew.com/threads/garlic-varieties.36398/#post-330770 and this - http://www.gardenstew.com/threads/m...d-what-to-do-with-it.27915/page-2#post-253935 Smoked garlic is just mentioned in these two post that I know off but it was not much discussed. I am using it regularly in stews and it gives a wonderful smoky aroma, I loved it. I have never thought of smoking it myself and now I think of doing it. So 2ofus do let us know of your progress.
I have never seen smoked garlic for sale so, I suppose I haven't had the chance to try it either. I am interested in seeing what you think of it 2ofus.
