At least I managed to get something finished today while I was home sick. I had been working on this sweater for a friends' baby for close to two months. It is supposed to be for her Easter gift. Decided it was now or never so finished it up this afternoon,except for the buttons. I would rather have different ones than the white ones I have and will get something different tomorrow at Walmart if I feel well enough to go to work.
That will be a treasured sweater Polly. I love all of the handmade items people did for my girls when they were little. They mean so much coming from the heart. Julie, it is great to see you, you've really been missed.
Thanks for the compliments. It turned out well and really was quite easy to make so since I am still home sick I started another to use for a Christmas present for our great niece.
Lovelyness. My mum is our chief knitter and she is doing all baby clothes at the moment as so many of her friends are having new grandchildren. Very pretty colours indeed!
Ah, you are a very clever gal . . . but, come to think of it, I can only crochet flat articles too, so I am still just as impressed as before :-D
