Wow, it seems it has been a long time coming ... spring is finally here! It is so nice to be out in the gardens again, but it sure is a busy time. There are shrubs to prune, leaves and debris to clean up, gardens to edge, topdress, cultivate and weed. It seems a little overwhelming at times, but when the plants start to thrive and bloom it is all worth it. A few tulips in bloom

I always watch for my 'White Feather' Hosta to come up. It puts on a nice show early in the season.

Netty that Frittilaria is just amazing!! Spring has definitely burst into your garden and transformed it. I actually found my nose gravitating towards the screen when I saw all your flowers. We really should have scratch and sniff monitors so that we could enjoy the full impact of your garden.

Spring has finally arrived for you and with a big bang! All of your flowers and shrubs are beautiful but I'll be adding China Doll to my fall want list. It is so pretty.
