Creeping Jenny blooms! A foxglove Curtesy of Waretrop/Barb. I hope you see this photo Barb. Octopus campanula I wish I could say this was in my yard!! No, but I get to enjoy the view on my Sunday morning walk with my friend. Nothing is more cheerful in the summer than crisp white daisies. I have already posted this photo on GS, but here it is again. Rosa Zephrine Drouhin. One of the few roses that will bloom in shade. I prize it for that reason. And that's all folks!
Beautiful flowers! I've never seen a creeping Jenny bloom before! I like the flower's though. I've got to look for an Octopus campanula which is another 'new to me' flower. I enjoyed seeing your flowers.
Beautiful photos! I like the Octopus Campanula ... a new to me plant as well. Love the arbor with Roses that you see on your walk. It looks like it is behind a stone wall ... one of my very favorite things!
Companola'Pink Octopus'. 2ofus I could send you some, Nette, not sure if I can.....but let me know your addy and I will try. Cayuga Morning, It will spread. Keep it at bay...... Mine is going great but I only allow it to grow in a certain area...L like that control.....LOL
Gorgeous flowers & pictures. Wish i had settings like that here. But then that would mean I lived in a tame rual neighboehood. And I most certainly do not.
Always nice to see pictures in particular when they include a new plant to me,..'Pink Octopus',..interesting bloom,..very nice trip you take on Sunday Cayuga Morning
Thanks Philip. Yes I do enjoy my Sunday morning walks with my friend Ginger. We have walked together for years and years. In our mutually busy lives it is the only time we can reliably get together. Thank Barb for the introduction of that interesting campanula. We had such a drought last year I thought I gad lost it for sure.
And the one kind that you sent me is growing wild. I have been tearing it out and potting it up so it can get established for sale....I pre decide what area any plant will be able to live in and make sure they stay in their own area every year.
Yes. If it is the one I am thinking of, it is a wilding and needs containment or left to roam at the edge of ones property.
That is a wonderful collection of plants. They are stunning to see and placed well. Chapeau. Gôh---a feast for the eyes.
Thanks Sjoerd. I finally can simply point my camera & post to GS....thanks to my husband. Go^h....... how does one pronounce that?
Love all of the flowers!! Did I see Foxgloves at this time of year? They would not survive in this heat where I am!! That shed looks so calming not to mention the white daisies!! Beautiful
Thanks Hummerbum! Yes, there is quite a bit of climate difference between Georgia & Massachusetts. I bet you have been busily harvesting vegies, tomatoes, etc while my vegetable garden is only now coming into production. BTW that foxglove is digitalis grandiflora. It blooms after the more common foxglove purpurea.
