I got some seeds from a commercially packed tamarind block. I planted the seeds on 15 June 2017 , after two weeks I got a couple sprouts. Here are the photos taken today (28 June 2017):

    Update:
These plants seem to be very vigorous and fast growing. Almost all seeds I planted germinated with no effort. A friend of mine told me you can expedite germination even more if you pour hot scorching water on the seeds and keep them soaking for one day.
