Well then, one final honey update. I have let the spun honey sit for a few days and "cure". Time this morning to break fast, and sample the first bit on bread. I whipped the top off the honey bucket and dibbed the surface with the handle of the wooden stirring spoon.....Plip ! That little dib was for me and whilst I began sampling, my bride spread a piece of bread with her knife. Mates, it looks so good on this piccy, but let me show you one taken from the side: You can see how thick she spread it. That is one disadvantage to creamed honey--you use too much, too fast. Well, I turned my back for a moment to pick up the camera and look at this foto that I had just taken and found this: Someone had taken a bite. My bride swore that it must have been kabouters.
Well, I found that licking the monitor screen just doesn't give the taste of that lovely, thick, creamed honey--darn! If we have an excess (doubtful) I will try creaming some. We have one customer who will absorb any and all amounts of honey that we have, so we rarely have more than we can use or sell. If live gives you lemons, make lemonade, and if life gives you lots of honey--cream it!

Thanks TONI. heh, heh, heh....EILEEN--I shall remember that. It is, ISLAND-- I am well chuffed with the result. Ha,ha,ha...JANE--you just won't do! I hope that you will have a good harvest from your bees this season. That was a good saying there at the end of your comment. Ta KATE--I wish that you could taste it. Yeah, that image of Jane slurping the monitor is an image that shall stay with me for a long time. hahahaha.
