    Hi,
I have some Thuja seeds that I would like to plant, however I have couple of questions:

    - What type of Thuja these seeds and cones belong to? can anybody identify them?
    - What is the best way to get highest germination? is it at all possible to grow them from seeds?

    Thanks

I put them in peat moss a month and a half ago; now they started sprouting. They look cute.

You've obviously found out that your Thuja can be grown from seed successfully - well done you!! Sorry I can't help with telling you which type of seeds you have. Do keep us updated on how they continue to grow for you.

Your seedlings are coming along nicely liono. It will soon be time to thin them out and re-pot them. I'll look forward to your next progress photographs.:)

This seedling proved to be hardy against heat spills. It had not even glitched when we got a very hot day (38 °C or 100 °F) that killed most of my other seedlings.

It looks as though you actually have two that have survived. Let's hope they go on to grow well for you.

I live in (almost) a thuja jungle! ;) :) :) Your seedlings will like damp, sun and if you put them in good soil they'll grow lots faster and better as they can grow almost out of rock ;)

Once they start to get bigger pinching them back can keep them looking nice and bushy. Your seedlings look very healthy.
