Will tomatoes that are blooming do good if they are transplanted?I have two beautiful plants that are blooming but they only get the morning sun so I'm afraid thats not enough sun to produce lots of tomatoes. They came up voluntarily.

Did up a good size root ball and lots of dirt. Give them a nice place to live with compost and water them well. Give them a few days to recover from the shock of the move.

I imagine that the plants will survive...just follow G'mama's suggestions--she knows her toms.

It's a pity that you can't put them where they get more sun, but remember--it's not the sun that's important, it's WARMTH. Warmth on the plant and warmth especially on the roots. Perhapos you could rig an enclosure of sorts that would hold the heat.
To re-emphasize: lots and lots of water the first week or so to insure their relocation goes smoothly.
Good luck and keep us informed of how they do.
