These strange seed pods are growing in a pot of semps I have. I dont have any idea what they are I never saw a plant in that pot to give the seeds, and the really strange thing is these seed pods are rooted! Anyone know what these are? You can see a couple open pods with seeds and a bunch of little brown pods. [/url]
I have no idea. Is the pot under or close to anything that could drop them ? Looks like they are all on top of the soil as opposed to coming up in the pot from the soil.
I'm not sure exactly what they are, but I always get them from the (wet) manure pile. They are some type of fungus I think.
Wow cool, those are called Birds Nest Fungus. I have never seen them except for in pictures, but I think they are really neat.
bird nest fungus huh..lol, ok They are so tiny...do the seeds just make more of the tiny fungus? I think they are kinda cool..lol
