Will be nice to see some of the summer birds arriving back here. The greatest last year was the Red-naped sapsucker. Birders came from all over the area to see it. It was here for nine days in early April, so I'm hoping.

Beautiful bird, Kildale! Still just Chickadee, Nuthatch and Bluejay here. Oh, and we have white Trumpeter Swans on some lakes that have open water. I'm looking forward to seeing the first Robin :D.

Our lady Robin arrived 3 days ago and this morning I saw her and her mate flitting around. She builds a nest in the large spruce tree by our patio and it's so much fun watching her and her babies.

Another wonderful photograph Kildale!! Our sparrow hawk has become a regular visitor to our garden. I love to see it but don't want to be around when it catches one of my small birds.

Thank you all for the posts. We get the Cooper's hawk mainly in the garden.

Our robins stay the year round, even in the snow.

Aww, lovely robin! I can't wait to see one here.

I live very close to a national forest and I learned the other day that it has the highest breeding population of bald eagles in the lower 48 states. There are more than 150 pair! Another reason to be pleased when I see one out my window, which I did just this morning :D

I saw my first robin today! Now that the ground is all soft and oozy hopefully they'll find lots of worms :D

We have the robins the year round. I like to put a wreath out and take pictures when the birds visit.
