"What Do you give to a Gardener for Christmas?".we What's your idea of a good garden present for someone in our area where snow comes in the winter? I am tired of Gift cards...... thanks
Here's a few: decorated gadening pots, gardening tools, maybe a special potted flower that one doesn't have yet.
I use to cross pollinate roses, name the seeds after people and give the sprouted plants to them as gifts. You never know what you will get, but real gardners seem to enjoy the wait to find out. Plus they end up having a rose no one else in the world has. This does require a little planning ahead tho.
Barb I found a few websites that might just give you an idea of what you can buy for your gardening friends. http://www.greenfingers.com/superstore/ ... Qwod6hU4Dw http://www.harrodhorticultural.com/Harr ... e%5Ftest=1 http://www.thegardenersshop.co.uk/ http://www.primrose-london.co.uk/garden ... p;ref=GOOG I hope they help you get some ideas and that you find something unique as gifts.
Barb, I'll add on to Eileen list Amazon.com and go to plants. here some more ideas I came up with: birdfeeder, birdbath, plant stand, hanging basket, how about a holidsy wreath.
