DSCN6404-001.JPG We have been feeding the squirrels, birds, and turkeys. Well the other morning I would never have guessed that these 3 would be so tolerant of each other. But I guess when you are hungry you are willing to wait your turn. View attachment 9116 Crows and turkeys do not get along at all. The Fox squirrel stood it's ground against both of them while it ate it's share of the food.
It is funny to see the Turkeys so afraid of a squirrel that is only a third of their size. The Fox squirrel will actually charge at the turkeys to case them away.

It's good to see all three tolerating each other like that and getting a share of the food you put out.

Food, if it doesn't make friendship, at least it makes for tolerance! Love your photo, and the fact that you help wildlife get through the winter.

Thanks all. I am always surprised when I see animals that shouldn't be getting along, actually seeming to be getting along.
