Yesterday my pawpaw (asimina triloba) babies finally peeked out of their pot. They and pecan are heat loving, and fart around for quite a while before getting busy & growing.
Congratulations! I have never tried a pawpaw but am very familiar with Pecan seedlings, if the squirrels or I accidentally leave any on the ground in the fall then by next year there are seedlings everywhere.....and in almost every potted plant I have when the squirrels forget to go back for them.
