Do the flowers open out more than in your third photograph by any chance? If they do could you post another photograph of them please as they are such a lovely colour.

Well, of course
I've used some special treatment for this plant; it has spent this summer on a public balcony
I call it guerrilla gardening

What a gorgeous flower and it has a little surprise inside. Great photos too, the color is so intense.

WOW Christer what a delightful flower!! I've never seen a bloom quite like yours before. Could I possibly send a copy of your photograph to my eldest son? He loves cacti.

Lovely cactus bloom! It looks like a lovely piece of sunshine. I like cacti and had a fairly large collection in my window sill when I was a little girl.
