All except for the last photo Daylilies--Stella D'Oro ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Hydrangea 'Pennie Mac' ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Iris ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Sedum spectabile ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Corydalis lutea ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Mertensia virginica ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Umbrellicus rubrum 'Cayuga AMica' ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden )
Those lovely green shoots really stand out against the grey leaf litter,..soon soon they will all bloom for you,..lol love your description of the last picture.
Don't you just love seeing everything reappear each year? It is about the same here, we are having a very late spring. It has been so cold, and plants are coming out of dormancy quite slow. BTW, it is SNOWING here this a.m. Grrr
