Some of these were taking late! After the 4th celebrations, so not at their best.. Post Rose show is being dominated by my seedlings.. other stuff is in bloom, but I rarely pay attention this time of year.. lol. The seedlings beckon me out , and everything else is forgotten for a bit..

EMO = Early Morning Opening, this was was fully open by 6 am, I like EMO's as they open before you go to work.. this is a 5.5 inch lightly scluplted, with a green throat and a consistent yellow edge, if not exactly a substanial one.

Some early shots of Surpasse Toute, brighter, bolder than I woudlve ever thought..

Group shot of Heritage rose

Series of shots of the unknown gallica like rose...

Comte De Chambord

Set of shots on Excelsior strain of Foxgloves, some of my favorite types..

Ive also strung twine around some trees around the garden.. another preventive method on the pesky deer.. deer are rather laze creatures, and habitual.. so hoping this deterent will work.. If not I will string it both high and low, spray everything again with the deer deterent, if that doesnt work, I will string even more on the side of the road will they cross..

HA! I hate deer
