I am a new Gardner and planted young Endless Summer Hydrangeas and they did very well. They are currently wilting and i am not sure if they are to top heavy or if i need to prune them down completely. Do they need to be secured around base to make lower stalks stronger? Help please :)

I not very knowledgeable about hydrangeas but I don't see any wilting of the leaves or flowers. It looks like the huge flower heads have caused the plant to split. Do you use a sprinkler to water them? If so the added weight of them being wet would cause this to happen. I would carefully tie the branches up or cage them so they are not on the ground and just water the soil without getting the leaves and flower heads wet. They are beautiful and look in good health to my inexperienced eyes.

If they are dropping, that usually means they are thirsty. I do not know where you are, but if it is hot, they will wilt in the afternoon if they are in too much sun or it is hot. Do not cut them down, but you can take off the spent flowers, or even cut some for bouquets.
