This is a picture of 1 of our 4 gardens circa early spring 2017.

Hi all I am a gardening fanatic living in the pyrenees mountains.
I mostly grow vegetables, but we also have a lot of fruits and flowers.

Hi Odif, welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas where there are no mountains but we do have mounds and ditches....that's as close as my area comes to hills and valleys.
I love the looks of your garden, yep a garden fanatic will find ways to garden no matter where. And I look forward to seeing more when the weather warms up for you.

Well you're the first gardener, as far as I know, that we have from the pyrenees mountains. I'm so glad you found us here at GardenStew and I look forward to seeing more of your gardens.

Welcome to the Stew, Odif! We are in central Texas on a small farm.
I admire your gardens--I know how much labor goes into the stone borders (been there, done that) but those borders look so good.
Hope to hear from you often, and see your gardens' progress.

Thanks everyone, here are a few more pictures of my garden. tulips.jpg
    Stunning tulips.

I transplanted 50 strawberries this morning, they look a bit wilting, but it is raining right now, so I am sure they will pick up in a day or two. On the left are broad beans and peas, unfortunately the broad beans took a heavy damage from late frosts and I will probably lose 3/4 of the crop. The peas were also a bit damaged, but not as much.

Luckilly, I hilled the potatoes up that I had planted for early potatoes, so they weren´t damaged by the frosts. They are just starting to poke through again along with all kinds of nefarious weeds.

Very nice looking garden, hopefully it will produce large crops for you. Do you can or freeze what you grow? We have several members who are canning fanatics. :)

This one is for you Frank. The strawberries are regrowing nicely after their haircut and I interplanted them with bushbeans. haircut.jpg

Welcome to The Stew Odif. I missed this 1st posting of yours but have enjoyed seeing your progress with the potato seeds. I think many gardeners here at the Stew are intrigued by anyone growing potatoes from seed!

I garden in New England, at my home and at a community garden.

BTW my husband & I will be in St Jean de la Pied this Sept. I am told that is at the base of the Pyrenees. Are you familiar with it?

St jean de la pied is on the other side of the pyrenees. I live near the mediteranean.
