Good Thursday morning all. Currently 1°C and overcast. The weather supposed to change for the worse this afternoon, bringing snow and freezing rain.
I'm headed out for my shopping and errands this morning, and then I'm heading home and heading into hibernation for a few days!
Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. It rained 11 straight hours yesterday, not a heavy rain but steady and adding up for a total of .80 of an inch.. Finally!!! And the temps will be staying in the 50-80 deg range for the next 10 days giving us some good fall like weather.

Some rain during last night but no snow. A flurry or two this afternoon but nothing stuck anywhere. They keep saying rain and snow but it all goes north of us. It wasn't very warm, only 34 once when I saw the thermometer but it was really windy. Leaves blowing everywhere. Trees are emptying their leaves at an amazing rate. dooley

Good Friday morning all. Currently -12°C with a windchill of -21°C. Brrr, what a change in the weather!
I managed to get the kale harvested and the last of the beets dug up, as well as my bulbs planted yesterday before the weather changed and the snow started to fall.
    Yes, I said SNOW!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -11°C and sunny. High is expected to reach -1 today, and that is much closer to 'normal'.
No skating today, as the arena is closed for Remembrance Day.
We will be going out to a sale later to pick some tiles for a few small projects around the house.
Have a great day all :)

Anyone remember when it was called Armistice day? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armistice_Day

We wish we were there too! We did watch skating from Japan on the TV, but it's just not the same!
Good Sunday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast.
We picked out some tile for under our woodstove and so the project begins. I have already stripped all but 6 tiles from the area, and hubby needs to help me move the woodstove out of the way so I can finish. Then he gets to prepare the surface and install the new ties. Sounds simple, but his heart isn't really into it so he will probably drag this project out as long as possible LOL I hate disarray and so I would like it done as soon as possible. Should be interesting.
Have a great day all :)

Good Monday morning all. Currently 1°C and overcast. High is to reach 8°C today, and that I can live with.
Home alone for the first time in I'm not sure how long! I'm going to get some serious work done today!
First, my coffee and computer time.
Have a great day all :)

morning all. We had 135km gusts of wind in the night. It seems to be dying down a bit today. Lots of snow fell on the mountains yesterday, so even though it is not cold this morning, the freezer is now switched on. We can expect really cold nights from now on.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 1°C and overcast. Yesterday was mild and so the snow is almost all melted.
I made turkey soup yesterday, with the bones from the Thanksgiving turkey from last month. I had frozen them and so made soup ... nothing like a 'free' meal! It was delicious!
Today, I have an appointment, and then home to sort through papers and figure out which ones I can burn. Should take a good part of the day.
Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Haven't seen the sun in several days and I really do NOT miss that obnoxious flaming ball of gas at all. No more rain to speak of since the all day glorious rain we had last Thursday.

Just clouds today. It wasn't very warm. It rained a bit during the night. I saw some places had put a bit of salt down but the streets were dry and clear. It's supposed to rain tomorrow sometime. Probably when we went to go out. I don't have a big shopping list but I always seem to fill up the shopping cart anyway. I cut out six shopping bags this morning so will keep busy sewing if the weather is bad and we don't want to go out in it. dooley

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 2°C and cloudy. We went an extra 20 minutes on our dog walk today, as the sun was shining and it was a lovely morning. Now the clouds are rolling in and we are to get rain this evening. I'm trying to get inspired to go outside and do some work this morning, not sure if I'm feeling it. I should at least get a few things put away before the rain. I'm not feeling horribly ambitious today!
Have a great day all :)
