I can't imagine why! houses here are on the market a day or two and gone. the neighbors put their house up for sale yesterday and I have seen at least 3 people there the few times I was in and out today... good luck, I hope it sells soon!

The house is too small. The garden is too big. The garden is too good and we could not keep it up. The road is too narrow. It is too far from the main road. All the above reasons why people have been, seen and not bought.

People can be ....... We had someone say my linen closet wasn't big enough. What they didn't say is that we had plenty of room in the other closets to put things....One lady wanted an island...if they would have looked at the house pictures they would have seen, no island so why bother coming to places if they don't have things you want. Good luck, someone from California bought ours and I am in Wisconsin. My flower beds look terrible now, I am hoping they take them out or plant bushes instead of flowers. I had mostly perennials.

Sherry8 I think some people do it just be totally nosy...we have a friend who was selling his and just had people coming for the sake of it plus it being a country home and in the end he stopped people viewing.

At present we are in the limbo between finalising the sale and it all falling through. We have signed all the papers to buy and sell and we are just waiting for the legalities to be sorted and then we can exchange contracts and hopefully get a moving date. Heart stops every time the phone rings.

At least we know our Solicitor is on the job. Just had an email confirming that the vendors have agreed to a price reduction in view of the difference between their asking price and the value put on the property by the Surveyor.

Mate, I have been watching your `houses` development since you began mentioning it on here. I really feel for you and the ups and downs so far. I am waiting for to hear the notes from the renown corporeal Lady. This uncertainty must be awful for you and yours. I have everything crossed for you as well.
The price reduction is a step closer by for you, isnĀ“t it. You know, when you see `Escape To The Country`, one gets the impression that it all runs smoothly--your account disproves that myth.
Well, please do keep us posted. I believe that there are several folks on here that are wringing hands for and with you.
