Gail, we live next door to a very tall tree with large leaves.
More of the neighbor leaves fall over our roof than in it's own yard.

Geckos, Lizards, ? , well I hate pests that eat my garden and "bug" me. It's a toss up.

@Growingpains i'd ask your neighbour if it was possible it could be cut back in a nice friendly manner what more can they say...we get a lot of moss on ours and every year hubby hoses it off...sometimes you feel your never getting a break.

Well i can't stand things that destroy your plants as it is annoying when you put care and attention in to it..here it's mainly aphids and slugs so i made sure i have no plants to attract them and otherwise it's squirrels for the nectar..they delighted in my bottle brushes when i had them, so they was soon put in to the garden where they couldn't reach them.

Gail, the tree is probably at least 50 years old and about 75 feet tall.
There is no way to trim it and it would be such a shame to cut it down.
We will just blow leaves and rake leaves.

I see where you coming from mate...endless job of leaves and such a shame regarding the mess. We have a birch tree in our front garden can't tell you the height but it was the size of an house and a half and they go through several stages of loss besides the leaves and it was blocking light out of the living room, we asked if it could be cut and we was given the go a head and hubby lopped it twice across the road and it now stands about 10-12ft and is kept shaped.

I'm glad that worked for your tree.
We would have to hire a professional
tree person. Our Park owners wouldn't pay what it would
cost. We both like the tree enough to just clean up the leaves.

Hi Growingpains…we did price ours but it was stupid money then my hubby asked further and it was ok to cut it as long as it was shaped and cut in a proper manner.
Well it's going to be back breaking for we both on leaf collecting ;)

My mate uses a blower to get leaves across the street. Then he shreds them with the mower for use on the gardens.

I had a blower an upright one but it kept sucking the gravel now and again and the bag was only made of thick cloth and it split twice, so my neighbour had it off me, it would be better if you had a plastic container attached like lawn mower do.
