@Logan i'm heading out this morning and wrapping up well as i'm sick and tired of being in now to long and i'm going to the hollybush to purchase one because with their guarantee, if anything stops working they'll swap it with in 12mths and if the tank plays up totally, then it's a total swap...my small ones covered the same.

Hi @Logan I went and got one and some items for inside but they're going back as I don't like them but I clocked a Chinese building I liked ;) here it is mate up and running but it's got to go through it's process first before I can add my fish and they've done a small journey into the spare bedroom :)

Well hubby took the ornaments back and got some replacements and put them in but when i'm due to move the fish after it's finished recycling, then I can add some out the small tank.

Temp is smack on already at 76F :like:
Thanks Nitram at 10pm pumps going off and that extension will be added to ease the flow of water a bit, as it's over riding the tele :whistling:

What I've added so far in the tank until I can remove some from the smaller one and the glass on this tank is magnified, so the items show bigger than on the actual picture.

Firstly I would like to say [IMG] to @eileen @Sjoerd and @Kazzawazza for their knowledge with aquariums and putting me in the right direction concerning the care of aquariums and also tropical fish :)

    Things I've learnt.
    1
. when water needs changing as it lowers the ammonia which causes the amounts of nitrite and nitrate to kick in besides when to test my water.
    2. feed fish every other day from every day (which I've been doing and is about to stop) and just a small amount so it doesn't have time to drop to the bottom.
    3. Vacuum gravel on a monthly basis.

I would also like to thank friends and members on their lovely comments as it helps give good inspiration to achieving your goal. [IMG]

Tests done today from small tank.
    pH 7.6
    Ammonia 1.0ppm
    Nitrite 0.25ppm
    Nitrate 0.0ppm

30% of water was removed and fresh added plus feeding daily will now stop and go to every 2 days and I also removed some ornaments for my new tank and they was left in boiling hot water to get algae off.

    Tests for new tank
    Temp 76F
    pH 7.6
    Ammonia 0.0ppm
    Nitrite 0.0ppm
    Nitrate 0.0ppm

The Ancient city of Malaysia as @Sjoerd puts it...my main tank designed :)

So Gail---this is all very interesting. You must be well chuffed with yourself. The seascape looks really good and your testing reveals good care. I can imagine that you can test your tank less often now though. You may find that if you test your tank as often as you have been that eventually you will begin to notice the cost. BTW...are you planning on getting some snails? There are a couple of different sorts.

Hi sjoerd not so much as chuffed but fascinated lol because at first I kept panicking and the more advice I had throwed at me in lehman's terms which helped me better...the way my head is for taking stuff in, i can't thank you all enough in that respect plus the colours catch my eyes.
Don't mention the cost please, with the other tank and this one besides extra's and liquids...hubby was on about it last night and how much i'd spent but you know me...my answer was blunt as long as it's not come out your pocket don't get worrying :like:
Sjoerd I have all male fish so if I had a snail it would have to be male also and to suite tropical water at 76F, as I don't want a female laying eggs and don't they leave a mess inside the tank themselves?
    Thanks Logan :like:
