    4 degrees today. Cold outside. I was working from home today so toasty and warm indoors, with the heating on :)

    Today we have European speed skating going on and it is outside for a change--old fashioned but I like it better. There was sunshine yesterday. We shall see what its like today. It is raining like mad here today. There is a New Years' gathering in our apt. building -- chatting, snacks and something to drink.

    It could still all go pear shaped. Now depends on the Survey on the property we want.
    We are after a bungalow in the nearby town, closer to shops, medical facilities etc. Still got enough garden for me to play in.

    Good Sunday afternoon all. Currently -13°C and sunny.
    A busy weekend, but back home now and trying to get caught up on the laundry and housework.
    I have some pork chops defrosting for dinner later and I've been craving perogies. Now to come up with a vegetable. Can you tell I'm hungry?
    I've only had a banana today and a hand full of peanuts.
    I've got to take the dog out and then I'll think about food.

    Back to my good ole routine this morning. House is a mess, firewood needs carried in, meals need planning ... always something to do!
